Provide all plant, labor, equipment, materials, transporation, and supervision to perform all operations in strict accordance with the applicable drawings and specifications. The contractor is to provide and install airfield signs and wind cones in accordance with Air Force Manual 21-1076. Work includes, but is not limited to, providing, and installing the following items: (1) Four (4) new TACAN check point signs at the locations shown on the drawings. Remove the existing TACAN signs at the locations indicated on the drawings. Re-use the existing concrete foundations, isolation tranformers and circuits, where possible. (2) An illuminated runway holding sign at the entrance to Taxiways G, D, and (2) at Taxiway A, one on each side of the taxiway. (3) An illuminated instrument hold line sign at Taxiways A (two-one on each side of taxiway), C, D, E, and N. (4) Isolation transformers, installation kits, junction boxes, and required wire and hardware for the runways and instrument hold signs. (5) Remove and replace existing wind cones with new 12' wind cones, one at each end of the airfield. Each wind cone shall be installed with a wind sock, four (4) flood lights, and an obstruction light mounted on top. Provide concrete foundations for new wind cones. The period of performance is 120 calendar days to include material approval, acquisition, transportation, and installation. The contract will be firm fixed price. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. SIC Code is 1731. Size standard is $7,000,000.00. The solicitation will be issued on or about 24 August 1998 with quotes due on or about 21 September 1998. This procurement is unrestriced in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. All responsibles sources may request a solicitation package by written request.
