Murphy Division, STVHCS, San Antonio, TX, intends to negotiate sole source contracts under the authority of FAR 6.302-3 and Title 38 U.S.C. for the purchase of a system comprised of a confocal imaging laser and data processing components and a microscope optics system as follows: (A) Bio-Rad Laboratories, 2000 Alfred Nobel Dr, Hercules, CA 94547, for the following: (1) MRC-1024ES Multi Photon Ready to include scanhead; Bio-Rad lasersharp 24-bit acquisition, display and 3D Volume rendering software, 15 mW Krypton/Argon laser with emission lines at 488, 568 and 647 nm, fiber optic laser launch assembly; system control unit with digital mixer boards and cables, two-days on-site training; and installation and 12 month warranty; 1 each. (B) Nikon Instrument Group Inc, 1801 Royal Lane, Suite 104, Dallas, TX 75229, for the following: (1) Diaphot TE 300 Quantum with 100% bottom port, 35mm photo front port, side port, bottom port with C mount port photomask reticle, coaxial coarse/fine focus w/tension adjustment and focus stop on coarse; 1 each.
