This is a sources sought synopsis. This synopsis is to seek adequate
competition to provide necessary services to perform shredding and
disposing within the landfill of 70,000 cubic yard of Typhoon Paka
Generated Debris and 75,000 Tires located in a stockpile at the U. S.
Navy Public Works Center Sanitary Landfill. The Contractor shall
furnish all labor, equipment, materials, tools, instruments,
transportation and supervision necessary to process and reduce various
size tires, foliage debris to include but not limited to: trees,
shrubs, leaves, lumbers, rubbish, garbage and other discarded solid
materials and metals in accordance with the requirements specified. All
tires and foliage debris to be mulch or shredded under this contract
shall be disposed of within the landfill with full compliance of all
federal and local laws. Metal products shall be disposed of through
Defense Reutilization Materials Office (DRMO) at COMNAV Marianas, Guam.
