Marine transportation of 300 passengers from Naval Station Everett Washington to Puget Sound Naval Shipyard (Bremerton WA), each weekday morning with return trip to Everett each weekday afternoon. Movement of all passengers must be made in one trip by a single vessel. This passenger-only fast ferry service expected to begin in April 1999 for an estimated period of 13 weeks. Contractor is responsible for vessel, crew, fuel, maintenance, and compliance with all safety and environmental regulations. Contract will be a firm, fixed-price requirements type awarded under procedures for commercial (FAR Part 12) services. The Service Contract Act applies. Evaluation factors for responsible offerors submitting technically acceptable offers include price and past performance.
