The work involves the construction of a new 8,000 square foot addition to the existing retail store and BMEU at the South Jersey District Office. Also approximately 6,500 square feet of existing building will be gutted and renovated for the retail store and BMEU. A new vault of 2,000 square feet will be constructed to secure stamp stock. The vault will be constructed in the renovated area of the existing building. Work will include new metal panel exterior walls, new entrances into the retail store and BMEU, new parking area, landscaping, interior partitions and doors, finishes, four new loading docks, roofing, foundations and structural steel frame, HVAC, electrical, fire protection, fire alarm and a security system. Offeror must have a minimum of five (5) years experience as a General contractor and must have satisfactorily completed at least five (5) projects of similar size and scope. The estimated price range is between $900,000 and $1,500,000 with completion required within 240 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed.
