The project involves construction of approximately a 15,300 sq. ft. Main Post Office. There will be a Customer Service Lobby with Postal Store. Site is approximately 356,000 sq. ft., however, only approximately one-half of this will be developed. Utilities are readily available. There will be one storm water management pond created at the front of the site. There is a small one story frame house, together w/garage, sidewalk and asphalt planking lot to be demolished. The site will be USPS owned with no building construction permits. Utility connection fees, user fees, etc. will be pre-paid by USPS. The design is based upon USPS mid-sized building standard plans. Work includes but is not limited to, earthwork, site utilities and site improvements, paving, landscaping and irrigation. Work also includes concrete foundations and slab-on-grade, steel structure, steel joists and decking, roof membrane over roof insulation, sheet metal, masonry, metal stud partitions, insulation, gypsum board walls and ceilings, ceramic tile, acoustical ceilings, resilient flooring, carpeting, custom cabinets and fixtures, carpentry, glass storefront system, painting, metal doors, wood doors, metal frames, door hardware, metal fabrications, toilet partitions and accessories, signage, lockers. Loading dock equipment, detection systems, security systems, electrical, and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning complete and ready for use. Offeror must have a minimum of five (5) years experience as a General contractor and must have satisfactorily completed at least five (5) projects of similar size and scope.
