Smith, Contract Specialist, (404) 842-6787 The Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR) contemplates awarding a contract to provide scientific peer review of: 1) toxicological profiles and toxicological profile updates; 2) nonpeer reviewed studies or protocols; and 3) analysis of specific topics related to the development of documents for a target number of hazardous substances which are most commonly found at facilities on the EPA National Priorities List (NPL) or unlisted substances which pose the most significant potential threat to human health. In addition, this project will provide for peer review of documents on substances that may be identified by the Department of Energy (DOE), the Department of Defense (DOD), and other interested parties. This contract will provide for expert panel reviews of important topics in environmental public health, and the development of summary reports or reviews of topics within the environmental health area.
