The Hunter Holmes McGuire VA Medical Center (652/90C), 1201 Broad Rock Blvd., Richmond, VA 23249 is issuing a solicitation for a contractor who can provide all performance requirements necessary to provide installation of approximately 40 feminine hygiene disposal units; and service on a weekly basis of these units. Contractor is responsible for providing all labor and materials to maintain weekly disposal services for the feminine hygiene disposal units. Contractor will be responsible for the weekly replacement, weekly cleaning and sterilization, and weekly chemical charging of approximately 40 feminine hygiene units. The solicitation will be issued as a Request For Quotations (RFQ 652-127-98) for commercial items/services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.3. The period of performance will be a base year commencing 10-1-98 through 9-30-99 with option to extend for four years (FY2000, FY2001, FY2002, FY2003).
