Environmental Protection Agency has a requirement for boiler
replacement at its Mid-Continent Ecology Division Laboratory, 6201
Congdon Boulevard, Duluth, MN. The Contractor will remove three
existing hot water boilers and install three new hot water boilers,
i.e., two 125 hp boilers and one 65 hp boiler. Work will include
replacement of existing air separators, expansion tanks, piping,
valves, and controls interface with the existing Johnson Controls
Metasys System, and providing additional fresh air supply to the boiler
room. All work must be completed while providing continuous hot water
to the laboratory and keeping dust/dirt inside the building to near
zero. The anticipated contract completion date is October 1, 1999. The
estimated price range is between $100,000 and $200,000. There will be
