This is a pre-proposal conference invitation prepared by the Global Air Traffic Operations/Mobility Command and Control (GATO/MC2) Systems Program Office (SPO) for the procurement of Communication Management Units (CMU) and Airborne Satellite Communication Units (SATCOM) components and services. A Draft Request for Proposal was electronically submitted on the Hanscom Electronic RFP Bulletin Board (HERBB) 12 Jun 98. This invitation to participate in the pre-proposal conference does not constitute an invitation for bid or a request for proposal. A Request for Proposal is scheduled to be released on HERBB NLT 07 Aug 98. The pre-proposal conference will be conducted on Thursday, 13 Aug 98 at Hanscom AFB, MA, ESC Building 1612, First Floor -- O'Neill Auditorium, at 0900 hours.
