The Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest is seeking sources for pre-fabricated toilet and shower buildings in a variety of configurations, suitable for use in developed recreation areas with low water pressure and no commercial power. Buildings may be constructed of wood, masonry, concrete, or other suitable materials but the appearance of the structure must be aesthetically pleasing. Roofing material may be steel, asphalt fiberglass shingles, or other suitable material. Toilets and urinals may be of the flush valve or flush tank type, but must operate with 15 psi or less water pressure and use 2 gallons or less of water per flush. The buildings and all components must be durable, vandal resistant, and fully comply with Americans with Disabilities requirements. Buildings must be suitable for seasonal use with the means to easily close and winterize the facility during the winter. Building design criteria must meet the Standard Building Code family with no snow load. Building configurations sought include the following: (1) a single building with one compartment containing one toilet; (2) a single building with one compartment containing one toilet and one lavatory; (3) a single building with two compartments each containing one toilet; (4) a single building with two compartments each containing one toilet and one lavatory; (5) a single building with three compartments, two each containing one toilet and one lavatory, and one containing a single shower; (6) a single building with four compartments, two each containing one toilet and one lavatory, one containing a single shower, and one to be used as a storage room; (7) a single building with two compartments, one containing one toilet, one urinal, one lavatory, and one shower; and one containing two toilets, one lavatory, and one shower.
