The Marine Corps Systems Command is now seeking qualified small businesses which may be able to satisfy this effort. As a result of the changes, a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items has been prepared in accordance with Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation M67854-98-M-2148 is being reissued as a Request for Proposal. This solicitation document incorporates Provisions and Clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular #97-05. In accordance with FAR Provision 52.212-2, the Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price, ability to meet products specifications and time to delivery considered.
