C -- ASBESTOS EXPOSURE ASSESSMENT REVIEW SOL 557-12-98 DUE 082898 POC Angela Baeumel (912) 277-2710 or Paul Dixon (912) 277-2711 Provide a comprehensive review and update, consistent with EPA guidelines, by a Professional Industrial Hygienist and A/E team, of this medical center's 1990 Asbestos Exposure Assessment. This review will include the following: 1) Review and update approximately 100 drawings and associated reports that identify asbetos containing materials(ACM) in all buildings. 2) A/E team shall visually field verify all ACM identified on the above-mentioned drawings and shall provide updatd reports on changes in ACM conditions consistent with EPA guidelines. These changes shall be redlined on existing drawings and then used as a guide to rework the existing drawings into a set of As-Built drawings. All changes in ACM shall be noted in a report similar to our existing Asbestos Exposure Assessment. Four hard copies of the As-Built and Reports plus a Microsoft Word and AutoCAD disk copy shall be provided. 3) A/E team shall label all ACM according to EPA regulations. A picture of each ACM shall be taken after proper labeling and inserted into existing Asbestos Exposure Assessment. NOTE: This solicitation is limited to firms located in the State of Georgia.
