labor, materials, equipment, transportation and supervision necessary
to perform all required on-site repair, replacement, inspection,
testing, calibration, and certification of fuel distribution systems
(stationary and mobile) and associated equipment at the Marine Corps
Base, Camp Pendleton, CA and the Weapons Support Facility, Fallbrook,
CA. Work also includes certification of monitoring systems which
include: line/tank leak detection and alarm devices and systems,
calibration and certification of meters (to include unleaded gas and
diesel meters and "high flow" receiving and issue meters), pressure
gauges and pressure relief valves, bulk loading equipment, air
compressors, truck and trailer mounted tankers, and repairs of Gas Boy
Card Readers. Work also includes providing hydrostatic testing of
hoses as required. The contractor will also be required to respond to
unscheduled service calls. The contract will be a Combination Firm
Fixed Price/Indefinite Quantity contract with a performance period of
eleven (11) months. The SIC is 7699 Miscellaneous Repair Shops and
Related Services and the business size standard is $5 million. This
solicitation is reserved exclusively for small business concerns. The
quote closing is tentatively scheduled for 4:00 PM local time,
September 3, 1998 at Building 22101, Camp Pendleton, CA. Plans and
specifications will be available approximately August 24, 1998 on a
first come, first served basis until the supply is exhausted. Requests
