The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, and facilities necessary to manage the transportation of VA beneficiaries to and from the Boston, Brockton, and West Roxbury Medical Centers and their affiliated outpatient clinics. The contractor will use VA personnel and government-owned vehicles in conjunction with non-dedicated (non-VA) resources to provide the transportation. The contractor will manage both non-emergency medical transportation as well as paratransit (demand response) transportation for the medical centers. The contractor will provide the hardware, scheduling software, and dispatching capabilities necessary to maintain efficient transporation of VA beneficiaries. The resulting contract will include a base period with three option years. Standard industrial code 4729 applies to this solicitation.
