16 -- HELICOPTER SKIS SOL DAHA19-98-Q-0009 POC CW2 THOMAS LAMONT, Contract Specialist, 508-233-6669 PRE-SOLICITATION: The project covered by this statement consists of furnishing all plant, supplies, equipment, materials, transportation and labor for the acquisition of three (3) sets of landing gear skis for UH-60 Blackhawk Helicopters. The skis require the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) Airworthiness release. Vendor(s) who can provide an equal item shall submit a written request for a bid package. When submitting bid please include specifications and FAA certification of air worthiness. Skis sets shall be designed for resistance to sinking, aerodynamic characteristics, weight, reliability, availability and maintainability (RAM) and local reparability.
