The U.S. Army CECOM is issuing a Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) requesting proposals in support of Lithium Ion Rechargeable Coin Cells. This BAA will be issued under the provision of FAR 6.102(d)(2) research proposal. A cost plus fixed fee type contract is anticipated pending approval of funding a total of approximately $425 Thousand dollars for a period of 12 months may be available for funding one of multiple efforts in order to accomplish this program. No award can be made without a proposal to perform the specific effort with an estimated cost and time frame work. CECOM will evaluate proposals and make contract award within a reasonable period of time. Such invitation does not assure subsequent contract award. Proposal will be selected through a Technical/Scientific/Price/Business decision process.
