The U.S. Geological Survey requires special additional digitizing of certain USGS-supplied strong-motion records of significant earthquakes on SMA (70mm) and CRA (6") film. The USGS intends to acquire these services on a sole source basis from Agbabian Associates, Pasadena, CA pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. Requirement is for continuation of records previously digitized by the proposed contractor, and award to another source would result in substantial duplication of cost and unacceptable delay in completion. There is no solicitation.
