It is anticipated that this will be limited to the removal of some ceiling tiles to allow the installation of the new conduits. There will be some minimal roof work at Hood Street and Pierce Terrace associated with the HVAC roof top unit replacement in this project. The replacement units will be provided with new, taller roof curbs and will be flashed into the existing BUR. The openings thru the existing roof deck at Pierce Terrace will be reduced in size by patching the deck. This will allow the new curb to be of the correct size to fit the new HVAC unit and eliminate the current flashing (leaks) problem. Additionally, at Pierce Terrace, the existing antennae mounted on the HVAC unit to be replaced, will be relocated and anchored to roof independently of the new HVAC unit. Plumbing vents-thru-roof (VTR's) and exhaust fan/curbs are being relocated away from the new curbs to obtain a minimum clearance with the HVAC unit. Duration of contract is approximately 180 calendar days. SIC Code is 1542. Small Business Size Standard is $17 million. Preaward Information will be submitted as part of bid.
