Provide professional services necessary for the design of various projects that are multi-discipline engineering in nature (i.e. mechanical, electrical, architectural, civil, structural, etc) including, but not limited to the preparation of designs, plans, specifications, cost estimates and miscellaneous reports at the VA Medical Center, North Chicago, Illinois. Area of consideration is 100 mile radius of North Chicago, Illinois. Contract for one year with option to extend for two (2) additional years. Each single project Task Order shall be from $50,000 to $75,000, and the total cumulative contract amount shall not exceed a maximum of $450,000. Submit two (2) copies each of SF 254 and SF 255 with appropriated data. Selection criteria will be based on: 1) Past performance on similar projects, maintaining project schedules and project budgets; 2) Overall engineering design experience and capability; 3) Qualifications of staff to be assigned, with special emphasis on field personnel to be utilized; 4)Cost control effectiveness; 5) Ability to produce all plan documents on a CAD system fully compatible with AUTOCAD 13 format, and specifications on a 3.5 disk for Microsoft Word 97.
