N00024-98-R-8517 POC Contact Point, LT Stan Dobbs, NAVSEA 0285D, 703-602-7714 x295 The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) is seeking sources interested in competing for the Advance Planning and Production work effort for Drydocking Phased Maintenance and Phased Maintenance Availabilities of AOE CLASS Ships Homeported at NAVAL WEAPONS STATION, EARLE, NJ. Place of Performance for this work effort must be within a 75 mile radius and 90 minute driving distance from the Naval Weapons Station, Earle, NJ. Companies responding must have access to a drydock within the requested radius and distance (75 miles and 90 minutes driving, respectively). Companies responding to this notice are requested to supply all pertinent information relating to proposed facilities to be utilized (charts, maps, etc.) and sufficient technical documentation to establish a bonafide capability to perform the requested work efforts. Only written responses will be accepted. The Government will not provide payment for any information provided in response to this synopsis, nor will the Government return the data provided. All data will be for official government use only. This announcement is a request for information only and is not a Request for Proposal (RFP), or an announcement of solicitation and is not construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract.
