Postal Service is soliciting proposals to renovate the second floor of an existing 9,000 sf building and add a new 3,000 sf loading dock at the Rutland, VT Carrier Annex (adjacent to the Rutland Main Post Office). The estimated cost of the work is between $1,000,000.00 and $1,500,000.00, with completion within one hundred eighty (180) calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. Sealed offers will be received in this office prior to, but no later than, 4:00 p.m. on September 8, 1998. Offers will not be publicly opened. The number of offers received, the identity of the offerors, the amount of any offer, or relative standing of the offerors WILL NOT BE DISCLOSED TO ANYONE until award of contract is made. Proposal documents, plans and specifications will be available o/a August 12, 1998 at a cost of $50.00 per set (non-refundable) from the Facilities Service Office, U. S.
