Forest anticipates contracting delivery and tailgate spreading of 400
ton of AASHTO #1 and #2 crushed aggregate and 2300 ton of 1.5" crusher
run aggregate to Forest Roads on the Marlinton and Gauley Ranger
Districts in Pocahontas and Webster Counties. FR 24, Gauley Mountain,
located west of SR 219 between Marlinton and Slaty Fork requires 100
ton of AASHTO #1 and #2 and 1200 ton of 1.5" CR. The mid-point of the
job from Marlinton is 21.6 miles and from Slaty Fork is 9.7 miles. FR
368, Leatherwood South, located north of FR 24, 6.8 miles from SR 219
requires 150 ton of AASHTO #1 and #2 and 650 ton of 1.5"CR. The
mid-point of the job from Marlinton is 21.4 miles and from Slaty Fork
is 9.5 miles. FR 135, Bannock Shoals, located northwest of FR 24, 4.9
miles from SR 219 requires 150 ton of AASHTO #1 and #2 and 250 ton of
1.5" CR. The mid-point of the job from Marlinton is 19.6 miles and from
Slaty Fork is 7.7 miles. FR 82, Red Oak Tower, located north of FR 101
requires 200 ton of 1.5" CR. The mid-point of the job from Richwood is
14.6 miles and from Dyer is 4.6 miles. Work will require delivery of a
minimum of 200 ton of stone per day. All responsible sources may
