The Office of Law Enforcement Technology Commercialization (OLETC) was established by the National Institute of Justice (NIJ) to assist in the commercialization and utilization of U.S. technology and innovation for use by the Law Enforcement and Corrections (LEC) community. OLETC is a non-profit organization, located on the campus of Wheeling Jesuit University. OLETC is seeking to transfer a False Alarm Reduction Software system to a partner that can provide software suport for the system. The software has been developed by a leading alarm industry association and has the endorsed support of the International Association of Chiefs of Police. The system has been developed to a mature stage and is in place in 42 cities across 4 states for beta sight testing. Current data shows a 40% reduction on average to a 1 billion dollar a year problem that faces the LEC community related to reducing emergency false alarms. This product could produce ready cash flow and has substantial growth potential.
