The 30th Medical Group at Vandenberg AFB is soliciting a California certified laboratory to conduct hazardous waste and material analysis in accordance with State of California, California Administrative Code, Title 22. Analytical results will be used to determine appropriate disposal or treatment of tested material. REQUIREMENTS: Solid, gaseous and liquid samples will be collected by Bioenvironmental Engineering personnel and picked up by the laboratory. Sample containers and preservations will be provided by the laboratory. Specified analytical parameters including a variety of organic and inorganic compounds will be stipulated at the time of pick up from the laboratory. The necessary turn around time will be specified at the time of submittal. The number of samples submitted will be dependent on operations at Vandenberg and are therefore variable. LABORATORY PERFORMANCE AND REQUIREMENTS: 1. Laboratory must be within 25 miles of Vandenberg AFB, CA main gate, and provide daily pick-up at Vandenberg AFB as needed. 2. Laboratory must provide 24, 48, and 72 hour analysis as well as routine analysis dependent on USAF sample prioritization. 3. Laboratory must provide analystical results to Bioenvironmental Engineering Flight within the stipulated turn-around time by FAX. Written results will be on company letterhead, be certified by the chemist conducting the analysis, and mailed to 30th Aerospace Medicine Squadron/SGPB (30 AMDS/SGPB), 338 South Dakota, Vandenberg AFB CA 93437.
