The U.S. Forest Service will issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for janitorial services for a compound made up of eight (8) very small buildings with a total cleaning area of 14,729 sq. ft. at the Mt. St. Helens National Volcanic Monument in Chelatchie, WA. The building are small modular/trailers and/or small permanent buildings that are occupies by office and field going personnel. The location of the small compound is semi-remote (45 minutes north of Vancouver, WA) rustic, and in a rural setting. The work will consist of the following types of cleanings: 1) Routine cleaning on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays; 2) Weekly cleaning on Sundays; 3) A monthly thorough cleaning; and 4) A intensive fall and spring cleaning in October and in March of each fiscal year. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.102(a)(1) Availability of Solicitation, a limited number of solicitation packages (25) will be made available on a first come -- first serve basis.
