Area radius for this service from base (West Virginia Air National Guard, 1679 Coonskin Drive, Charleston WV) will not be greater than 10 miles. Service requires providing rooms with two (2) beds, with the size of the room being at least 200 square feet. Each room will have double occupancy requirement unless stipulated on the housing list to be provided. Each room will have a minimum of a bathing capability with hot and cold running water, storage area for personal clothing, heating and cooling capabilities, and a television. The potential vendor agrees to delegate authority to receive calls to at least two (2) employees. The vendor agrees not to register any member of the 130th Airlift Wing until that member's eligibility is ascertained, or authorized by the Base Housing Officer, or other authorized representative. The vendor agrees to be responsible to collect additional costs such as room service, telephone calls, movie rentals, etc. from the unit member. The 130th Airlift Wing will pay only the contract room rate and no additional costs. The vendor agrees not to let any individual register another member or receive that persons room key and will ensure that each individual signs a registration card in person. Vendor agrees to annotate the room number assigned to the individual next to their name on the provided housing list. The 130th Airlift Wing will provide a housing list prior to the Unit Training Assembly (UTA) and Secondary Unit Training Assembly (SUTA) of personnel from the unit eligible to receive quarters. The list will annotate those personnel who are married couples (authorized to room together) and those who are authorized single rooms. Members from the 130th Airlift Wing Services Flight, Fire Department, and Medical Squadron will perform an inspection for Health and Safety issues prior to contract award and semi-annually thereafter. Vendor agrees to funish the 130th Airlift Wing with the following documentation: 1) Company responsible for pest control to include date of last inspection and 2) Name of refuse disposal company used. Vendor must be in compliance with the Hotel/Motel Fires Safety Act of 1990 (copy will be provided with solicitation). Service dates and the numbers of rooms listed herein are for bidding purposes only. Service dates and the numbers of rooms required are subject to change.
