The new Cleves Post Office is a one story 5,800 square foot building on a 1.4 acre site. The building is brick veneer on wood stud framing and with asphalt shingles over a 4/12 wood roof truss structure. The HVAC system consists of a split system air handling unit and duct mounted furnaces. There are 26 employee parking spaces and 1 truck dock space. There are 18 customer parking spaces along with a snorkel mail drop lane. An existing 80' x 120' concrete building must be demolished and the site cleared of gravel areas and tree areas. To accomodate the slope at rear of the property, a concrete retaining wall is required. The estimated price range for this project is $1,100,000 and $1,300,000 with completion within 210 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed.
