Basic quantity of 87 modular paint dispensers to be used aboard US Navy ships. The US Navy designed system is essentially an air tight container which has the capability to store paint without the paint curing, maintain the paint homogeneity via a re-circulation system, and dispense paint in variable quantities. The dispenser is fabricated and welded using 304 grade stainless steel. All auxiliary parts, including the air diaphragm mixing pump, and all tubing, valves, and fittings, are standard off the shelf commercial items. This contract type will be a firm fixed price with an option for up to 50 additional dispensers. This procurement is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside and will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 13 as authorized by FAR subpart 13.6 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items.
