This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation F09609-98-B-0002 is hereby issued as an invitation for bid (IFB). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-5. The procurement is 100% small business set-aside and will follow simplified acquisition procedures in FAR Part 13. The following item is required: CLIN 0001: Provide 146 each portable plastic safety barricades with the following specifications: Dimensions 24" high x24" deep x8' long; UV protected; made from recycled polyethylene plastic and recyclable in itself; color: DOT Safety Yellow; thickness: .375 nominal; weight: 118 lbs. empty/1500 lbs. full; one (1) 4" fill hole on the top for sand; one (1) 1" drain hole on the bottom; no slip bottom surface; no seams; one year manufacturer warranty; Creative Building Dura-Bull Product Part No. 9562-24 or equal.
