issuing an SBA 8(a) competitive solicitation (RFP) on or about
September 11, 1998 (with closing 30 days after issuance) for customer
assistance and help desk support services at U. S. Customs Service,
Newington Data Facility, Springfield, VA. The contractor will be
required to provide technical support, maintenance assistance and
problem resolution for the Customs automated systems. The help desk
support is operational 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The contract will
be awarded for a base period of performance with the Government having
the right to unilaterally exercise 4 one year options. This
procurement is restricted to SBA 8(a) contractors. SIC 7379. All
