Anti-Reflection Devices for the M24 Mini Binoculars. The
characteristics/features for the anti-reflection device include: (1)
the ability to inhibit visible objective lens/window reflections;(2)
the ability, when attached to the supported optical device, to NOT
appreciably degrade or impact optical performance (i.e.,light
transmission, optical resolution, and field of view) of the system; (3)
the ability to be easily attachable/removable by a soldier from the
supported optical device; (4) the ability to require NO special tools
by the soldier in the field for attachment or detachment; (5) the
ability to NOT require physical modification for the supported optical
system; and (6)the ability to reasonably perform in a typical
battlefield en- vironment. The U. S. Army intends to acquire theitems
via a non-competitive modification under present contract with
Tennebraex Corp., DAAE30-97-C-0035 by increasing the maximum quantity
