D -- WEB-BASED EXPERT CHARTING SYSTEM POC Deborah White, Contract Specialist, (404) 842-6520 The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to negotiate a sole-source contract with the University of California-Los Angeles, UCLA Emergency Medicine Center, for the development of an interactive Internet site that will facilitate the online real-time medical management of health-care workers (HCWs). The contractor will accomplish the project in two phases: Phase I consists of the Web-based conversion of the existing Emergency Department Expert Charting (EDECS) Module for occupational body fluid exposures and Phase II which completes the site by providing comprehensive follow-up management of body fluid exposures. Period of Performance is 28 months. Other than full and open competition is authorized pursuant to 41 U.S.C. 253 (c)(1). Qualified vendors have 15 days from the date of this synopsis to submit capability statements delineating their ability to provide these services.
