The project work areas are the Blanco Diversion Dam, Azotea Tunnel Outlet, and the Willow Creek Canal. The major components of the work may include dewatering, excavation of deposited material from diversion dam immediately upstream of the sluiceway and adjacent to sluiceway wall, removal and replacement of reinforced concrete in sluiceway and sluiceway walls with silica fume concrete, furnishing and installing perforated and non-perforated polyethylene pipe and corrugated metal pipe (CMP) outfall structure, furnishing and placing gravel envelope for perforated pipe, furnishing and installing 2-1/2" rigid insulation for sluiceway wall, repair of the baffle drop structures and installation of concrete aprons. This is contemplated as a 5-year contract with work repairs to begin with Blanco Dam. In the subsequent years as money becomes available, work orders will beissued for the additional structures.
