Request for sources: The Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms Ca, plans to issue a Master Solicitation for Road Base and Class II Gravel, in accordance with the FAR 14.203-3. The annual requirement is estimated at 50,000 tons of which 48,000 tons (96%) is 3/4 inch road base, 1,000 tons (2%) is 3/4 inch gravel (clean) and 1,000 tons (2%) 90 lb. Riprap. These materials are to be delivered to various locations aboard the MCAGCC, Twentynine Palms, Ca. to include the training corridor areas located within 20 miles of the main gate. A road condition assessment site visit will be required by the vendor for each subsequent contract, and prior to pricing and delivery in order to ensure that vehicles can safely deliver to the site, and that quantities requested can be delivered in a timely manner. Deliveries will be required within 96 hours of the request, at a minimum daily rate of 500 tons, maximum 3000 tons. Delivery can be made by either normal dump truck or bottom spreading trucks as annotated in the master solicitation and resulting contract.
