The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is seeking sources that are not affiliated with a Human Resources COTS package to indicate interest in evaluating and assessing the existing computer systems and manual business processes in the Office of Human Resources (OHR). The purpose of this notice is to develop a list of qualified firms who can establish a plan for the development of an integrated OHR system that will automate the OHR functions, thus improving the quality of servces provided by the OHR to the Department and providing support to HUD in its transformation to "HUD 2020". The purpose of this project is to study OHR business processes, evaluate the current needs of this office and those of its customers (i.e. HUD managers and employees) and provide a recommended solution for a strategic approach to an integrated automated system for HR business processes that support HUD's transformation to "HUD 2020". As part of this project, it will be necessary to evaluate the existing software systems, identify the technological improvements needed and present alternative solutions for consideration. Companies are invited to submit a conceptual approach that accomplishes HUD's goals and to provide complete informaton discussing the following qalifications and experiences. (1) Experience in assessing and evaluating Human Resources computer systems and business processes. (2) Specific information on how your plan can satisfy HUD's requirements.
