Percy Priest Resource Manager's Office/Visitor Center Building is located at the west end of the J. Percy Priest Dam near the intersection of Bell Road and Stewarts Ferry Pike. This is ten (10) miles east of downtown Nashville in Davidson County. The work involves removing existing ballasted roof and insulation and replacing insulation and install a new seamless rubber roofing system. The structural sub-roof is solid, reinforced concrete with approximately 14 water drains and 10 roof vents. An HVAC system consisting of three (3) units are also mounted on the roof. The surface area is approximately 10,295 square feet. There is a presence of asbestos in the existing roof material that will require removal and disposal according to existing Metro-Davidson County regulations for such work. Request for Quotations (RFQs) will be available on or about 21 August 1998 and are to be received by the close of business, 4:15 p.m. Central Standard Time, on 4 September 1998.
