This procurement shall be processed in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures of Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations. The purpose of this purchase order is to implement the "Put Prevention Into Practice" model into Medical Managed Care and Child Heath Insurance program activities through the use of promotoras. This purchase order will focus on the training and education of promotoras in the state of Texas Medicaid and Chip Programs and their enrollment procedures. The period of performance for this project is 12 months. The HETCAT, University of Texas Health Sciences Center of San Antonio, is deemed the only responsible source capable of providing the required work and services.
