Frazier R -- The U.S.Dept of Commerce/BISNIS requires the services of a contractor to provide BISNIS with trade leads, market intelligence, and industry and regional reporting on Sakhalin Island, in Yuzhno Sakhalinsk, Russia. Special emphasis shall be given to opportunities for U.S. companies in industry sectors related to oil extraction, transportation, services manufacturing and materials supply, and other strong prospects in connection with Sakhalin-1 and Sakhalin-2 oil and gas projects. Industry reports will be patterned after International Market Insight and Industry Subsector Analysis reports utilized by the U.S. Commercial Service, in most cases, topics will be provided by BISNIS. Regional reports will include reporting on the investment climate in the city of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, as as well as other major cities/regions of the Island.
