R -- PROVIDE SUPPORT TO HRSA'S GRANTS ELECTRONIC MANAGEMENT SYSTEM SOL HRSA-98-OA-A228008 DUE 083198 POC Aileen Broider-301-443-5231 The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) intends to negotiate on a SOLE SOURCE basis with the Eagle Technology Group, Inc., 10651 Finn Drive, New Market, MD 21774. This procurement shall be processed in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations. The purpose of this procurement is to provide support to HRSA's Grants Electronic Management System (GEMS) which was designed to provide HRSA with agency-level management reporting capabilities. The contractor shall: provide operational support which includes support for the installation of GEMS software throughout HRSA; provide GEMS system maintenance support of the application software; provide GEMS system transition support which includes configuration maintenance and training; and provide Internet-based solutions which includes developing strategic and tactical plans for improved methods for exchanging data using the Web. The Eagle Technology Group, Inc. is deemed the only responsible source capable of providing the required work and services. The period of performance is six months.
