The Federal Emergency Management Agency intends to issue a Request For Quotation (RFQ) on or about September 1, 1998, for general construction services to be provided at the Federal Support Center, located in Olney, MD. The services/work to be accomplished include painting, barrier removal, renovation of one existing restroom into a unisex handicap restroom. Work shall include removal of one wall, the renovation of an existing ramp and two doors to be handicap accessible in accordance with ADA. Other planned work includes the replacement of a handrail, the patching and sealing of existing concrete, widening and painting of existing handicap parking space, and the painting of existing walls in office areas located on upper and lower levels. The estimated range of this project is between $25,000 -- $100,000.00. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside with a SIC Code of 1542, and a Small Business threshold of $17.0 million.
