This action is unrestricted. The SIC code is 2813 (1000 employees). Award of the CO2 contract shall be based on acquisition of commercial items under FAR Part 12 and quotations must be received NLT 5:00 p.m. on 26 August 1998. Deliveries shall be made on-site at the USAYPG installation located 30 miles north of the city of Yuma, Arizona. Estimated quantities are 4,000,000 per year. The contract will be a one-year contract with two one-year options available and options shall be evaluated at time of award. The Contractor shall deliver CO2 Technical Grade "B" 99.9% pure. Dew point shall be no less than 90 degrees Fahrenheit or moisture content greater than 1.60 PPM. CO2 shall be delivered, on call, in lots of 40,000 pounds plus or minus 10%. Each delivery shall have a correctly annotated delivery ticket. Each delivery shall contain a copy of the QA Report tested by the company on the Manufacturer's lot. The Quality Analysis Report shall include Dew Point and PPM of any other chemicals. All delivery tankers shall be equipped with Compressed Gas Association Standard Liquid CO2 fittings on the transfer hoses and include Whip Checks for safety. The delivery point(s) shall be into Government-owned storage tanks located on the KOFA and Cibola Firing Ranges. Deliveries shall be made at no other time except during USAYPG's normal work-week; After-hour deliveries shall only be made if USAYPG personnel are available to receive the load; otherwise, shipment will be accepted the next normal workday.
