Cincinnati is accepting quotes destination priced for the following:
Quadrupole GC/MS System -- Minimum Specifications for GC/MS System
consisting of: (1)70 ev electron impact mass spectrometer must be
capable of scanning between 25 and 750 amu using a quadrupole mass
filtering system, and independently heated ion source; (2) using a full
scan, must be able to detect 1 pg of octafluoronapthalene with at least
a 10 to 1 signal to noise ratio; (3) Turbomolecular pumping system; (4)
System must be capable of being fitted with an HPLC inlet system at a
later date; (5) Data system consisting of at least a Pentium computer.
All system software capable of operating system, including the NIST or
Wiley special Library. EPA is also interested in trading in our current
GC/MS system that will be replaced by this procurement. This system
consists of: (1) HP 5989A GC/MS system purchased in 1990 (2) HP 5890 GC
(3) HP 345 Data System (4) HP 30S Tape Drive. Posted 08/19/98
