Bighorn Canyon, NRA, National Park Service, is soliciting Invitations for Bids on a full and open competitive basis for trash collection and hauling of trash services to provide garbage removal from Agency owned, bear proof, rear load dumpsters placed in the joint National Park Service and Bureau of Reclamation government camp for residents employed by the Government; for dumpsters placed at all campgrounds, launch accesses, and picnic areas. The collection of garbage in the government camp will take place once weekly for entire fiscal year; at the campgrounds on a seasonal basis, once a week except for Holiday week-ends and twice weekly collection will be necessary to run from approx. May 15th through Sept. 15th of each fiscal year. This contract will also include the rental and placement of two 30 cyd dumpsters, one for recycling and one for construction type material to be hauled when full on a 'on call basis'. These services will be considered Commerical Services under FAR PART 12, Commerical Item Contracting. Contract will be firm fixed price, sealed bid. Solicition packages should be ready for mail on September 9, 1998. Award is expected to be made by September 30, 1998. Contract will be one base year with (3) one year options to renew.
