The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to negotiate solely with System Development Group, 204 Butler Avenue, Lancaster, PA 17601 to modify the existing Core Supply System (CSS) to interface with the new Social Security Warehouse Management Control System (WMCS) and to upgrade the current DOS version to an NT version. System Development Group, owner of the software product XLN, is the only firm that can modify the XLN application and migrate the DOS version to the Windows NT 4.0 version incorporating the specialized external application they developed to interface with existing SSA programs. Any literature, or information submitted, as a response to this notice, must contain enough information attesting to the capability of a product offered to meet SSA's requirement. Respondents should refer to XLN98CS. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided.
