The Air Mobility Command (AMC) is conducting market research to identify potential sources for providing Year 2000 (Y2K) assessment services to support certification of Headquarters AMC information systems. Request interested offerors capable of performing this effort submit a capability statement no later than 03 Sep 98. Information submitted in the capability statement should include company name, address, telephone number, point of contact, business size and general description of the company and services provided. Interested parties should submit information to demonstrate their capability of performing Y2K assessment and certification through current and past performance efforts. Interested parties shall also include a list of their most recent and relevant contracts for providing Year 2000 assessments for similar information systems to include contract number, place of performance, customer point of contact, telephonenumber, contract type, amount of award, and period of performance. The information should also include a very brief description of the services required and whether performance was considered acceptable or an explanation for performance problems noted. Interested parties should also indicate their ability to provide these services with personnel who have, or have the ability to obtain, a Secret Clearance prior to any awarded contract. Be sure to identify any existing federal supply schedules such as through GSA or other existing government contracts that may be used to obtain such services along with ordering information.
