This is an open solicitation of commercial items. This announcement constitutes the only request for offerors. Respondents are urged to contact Charles Williams, Purchasing Agent, at (252) 335-6640. This is an unrestricted requirement for the procurement of the following: Clin 1: 2 each Air Data Test Sets (ADTS). The ADTS will support all Coast Guard aircraft by functionally testing the aircraft's Pitot Static System for pressure leakage and verifying the performance of various air data systems such as altimeters, airspeed indicators, rate of climb indicators, and air data computers. The test set shall be a ruggedized commercial unit consisting of a main unit, a remote unit with cable, a power cable, total and static pressure air hoses, and other ancillary equipment. It is microprocessor driven and operates on 115VAC 400 HZ or 115VAC 50, 60, or 400 Hz. As a minimum, the ADTS shall have the following basic performance requirements and capabilities: Altitude simulation -1,500 to +65,000 ft, Airspeed simulation +20 to +1,000 kts, Altitude slew rate 0 to 30,000 ft/min, Airspeed slew rate 0 to 700 kts/min, Weight <125 lbs, Volume <3.5 cu ft, IEEE Bus Interface, Aircraft or ground power, 1,000 hrs MTBF, 1 hr MTTR, 180 Day Calibration, and Self Test. The ADTS should be supportable through the government's logistics system.
