A -- AN/SPS-67(V) RADAR PROGRAM SOL N00024-99-R-5202 POC Contact Person, Contracting Officer, G. Michael Dodd, SEA 02522, (703) 602-8000 Ext 568 The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends award Contract N00024-99-C-5202 to DRS Electronic Systems, Inc. (DRS) of 200 Professional Drive, Gaithersburg, MD 20879, for Design Agent (DA), Technical/Engineering (T/E) Services under the AN/SPS-67(V) Radar Program. In FY98, DRS was competitively awarded the contract for the production AN/SPS-67(V) Radar Systems, less the OE-374/SPS-67(V) Antenna Groups. As the current manufacturer of the AN/SPS-67(V) Radar System, less the Antenna Group, DRS has been provided the US Navy's master drawings for the radar and is responsible for all design changes. As such, DRS is the only firm possessing the master drawings, requisite technical expertise and background to perform the required design agent, engineering and technical services in a cost effective manner while minimizing the impact to the AN/SPS-67(V) Radar System deliveries to the US Navy's shipbuilding schedules.
