The services to be performed is to provide technical and project management support in the design, engineering, integration, equipment acquisition, installation, implementatioin, training, and maintenance of the DCMC Dallas Distance Learning Satellite Downlink Facility. The DCMC Dallas Distance Leaning Satellite Downlink Facility is part of the DLA Distance Learning Network (DDLN). GE Spacenet is the sole provider of the FTS2000 Wideband Video Transmission Service (WVTS) Digital Satellite compression Feature (DSCF) available to only Federal Government and DoD agencies. An integral part of this service is the Conditional Access Management System (CAMS) which is proprietary code owned, operated, and licensed by GE Spacenet. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No award will be made on the basis of any response to this advertisement.
