The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate a contract with Raytheon Systems Company, Sensors and Electronic Systems, for a base year and 3 option years for initial production of ALE-50A Intergrated Multi-Platform Launch Controllers (IMPLC) to be used in conjuction with the IDECM RFCM Fiber Optic Towed Decoy system for a total quantity of approximately 290 units. The Government intends to purchase approximately 70 units for the base year, and approximately 220 units total for the option years. The Government does not own the data package necessary to compete the proposed procurement. Raytheon Systems Company is the designer, developer and manufacturer of the ALE-50(V)IMPLC and is the only source with the personnel, facilities and knowledge to perform this effort within the required timeframe.
